Preventing the spread of Coronavirus

An outbreak of a new coronavirus (COVID-19) that began in Wuhan, China has already killed 81 people with infections now confirmed in Australia.

A coronavirus is a category of viruses that can cause an infection in your nose, sinuses, or upper throat.  The current outbreak has been identified by The World Health Organisation as a new type of coronavirus: 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) which can cause severe acute respiratory infection with no specific cure or vaccine.

Most coronaviruses spread the same way as other cold-causing viruses do: by coming into contact with infected people who are coughing and sneezing, by touching an infected person's hands or face or by touching surfaces that infected people have touched.  Preventing the spread of any virus is incredibly important and can be aided by washing hands frequently and thoroughly and by utilising a hand sanitiser.  Our Hand Sanitiser Spray has been independent lab tested and confirmed to naturally prevent the spread of bacteria (ecoli and staph), influenza and MHV (a coronavirus in the same family as COVID-19), effectively killing 99.99% of these bacteria or viruses applied neat to the cultured germs being tested.  Unfortunately we are unable to test the effectiveness of our products against the spread of the actual COVID-19 as a sample of the virus is not readily available in Australia.

Preventing the spread of any infection is incredibly important and can be aided by cleaning all 'high-touch' areas around the home including doorknobs, light switches, phones and keyboards along with continued and thorough washing of hands, using a hand sanitiser and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth when your hands are unwashed.
